I need some pumpkin recipes - preparing from actual pumpkins

I have 3 large pumpkins I am about to carve and would love to make pumpkin chowder and pumpkin bread and maybe some other pumpkin stuff to. I need some great - as easy as possible recipes - including how to prepare the pumpkin - not using it from a can.

I recently made Fine Cooking's recipe for their Brown butter pumpkin layer cake (which is DELICIOUS).  The recipe calls for fresh pumpkin puree:
