XP: Birthday Theme Ideas

I want to do some sort of theme for DD's 2nd birthday day.  Her birthday is about two weeks before Christmas so our house will most likely be decorated for this.  Not that it has to be a Christmas theme but I'm just looking for ideas and how you implemented the theme.  DD doesn't really have any TV show or characters she loves.  I saw Target had some cute Hungry Little Catepillar things or I was thinking of doing a Brown Bear, Brown Bear theme since she likes that book.  Suggestions would be great!

I think for E's second birthday we are doing just a butterfly theme. Does she have a favorite color? You could just do something in that color. E was born 3 days before V-day so last year I did just hearts.

We're doing a Breakfast with Santa theme for DD's birthday (on Dec 19th) .. kids in pajamas... pancakes.. friend dressing up like santa.. I'd be willing to share ideas if you're interested.. nmolson at gmail dot com
