The judge signed our divorce decree after going through our stipulated agreement this afternoon in court. It was a surreal experience. Took just over 20 minutes since we had drafted the agreement together and were not contesting anything. It's recommended we take some classes on co-parenting and parenting children through a divorce, but that's about it. It was crazy. The decree still needs to be filed on record, so I suppose it's not OFFICIAL until then, but we can get a copy within the next week to proceed with my refinancing of our house and X's offer on a new house.I cried a bit afterward...not because I regretted and/or questioned the decision, just for the loss of everything I suppose and the uncertain future. But overall I honestly feel a sense of relief and even some excitement now that things are finalized. There's a lot more work that lies ahead, but I truly am glad this chapter of this journey is over finally.

"There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."
