Favorite toys for 18 mos?

Starting to think ahead to Christmas gifts and would love some ideas! What are your 1-1.5 year old's favorite toys? TIA!

I just Googled this question a bit ago because I was thinking DS needed a few new things to tide him over to Christmas.  Blocks, ride on toys, washable crayons and markers, indoor/outdoor slides, tent/tunnel things, sorting toys, etc. were all on the list.  I think DS would like all of those.  Right now DS loves blocks and books the most.   Also his blasketball hoop and balls.
