My dad and step mom watch my LO. They watch her 4 days a week. Seems like everyother day when I go to pick her up she cries with tears because she doesn't want to go. She always puts her arms out for my step mom to take her. Then I have to take her back to go put her in the car. She screams and cries so hard, I back the car up and leave, down the driveway and shes fine. Why is she so sad to leave?? I must admit I may be jealous because she doesn't get upset to see me leave. My sister said that maybe she has fun there, and doesn't want to leave! She doesn't have fun with her mama! I don't want anyone to take me the wrong way, but I glad she loves to be there and happy/greatfull that they are able to watch her and love her so much. But I feel like i'm the mama and am I not doing a good job?? It's hard to see her cry, but harder when I want to take her home and she doesn't want to go. Anyone else, or advice??
Re: LO cries when time to leave...
We are having the same issues with Bryson. The only advice I have for you is to let dad & step mom carry your LO out the car. And then have everyone wave bye bye.
That's how we've gotten a bit of a handle on the situation. It sometimes works and other times, not so much.

DS stays with FIL during the week. Whenever we pick him up he's so happy to see us...but when we are walking to the car he starts fussing/crying. Some days are worse than others. I just tell him that we're going home to eat dinner and play with Sada (our dog). Once we're in the car and driving he settles down (and usually falls asleep). So I think it's a mixture of him being tired from playing all day and not wanting to get into the car seat. I highly doubt it's b/c he has "more fun" with them over you and I'm sure you're doing a good job. Kids will be kids - you can't control their emotions.
I would suggest making a big deal of going home. Do you have any pets? Or a certain toy that stays at home? When you're getting ready to leave (before the tears begin) - tell her that you're going home to see the pet/toy.
