AW: Emma poopied on the potty

She went into the bathroom while Matt was getting ready and told him "potty" so he took her to her bathroom and she went.  She sat down and tooted and he kept asking her if she was done and she kept saying "nope".  She then reached for the toilet paper and got up.  He looked in and there it was!!  I'm not completely optimistic, but I'm just so darn proud of her right now!!!

WooHoo! DS will NOT do #2 in the potty.  He will pee, then get up and demand a diaper, then finish.  Sigh. 

Great Job, Emma!  Come tell my boy all about it, and how great it is.  Maybe a little peer pressure will speed him along, lol.

Yay!  Even if it doesn't happen right away, at least you know the end in is in sight!  Several people have told me though that once their child pooped on the potty they never pooped in their diapers again.  Let's hope you have that kind of luck!

My cousin is having the same issue with her two year old.  She said he'll pee in the potty all day long, but will only poop in a diaper or pull-up.

The reason I'm not optimistic is because she have NEVER peed in the potty.  Only 3 times has she pooped.  The first 2 were with my mom who was changing her diaper and realized that she was about to poop so she put her on the potty.  This one was huge because she prompted it all by herself!  She never even tells me if she's wet.  She just doesn't care!!  I will start putting her in training pants when she pees on it the first time.  Until then, it's still diapers!!  I will say though, it was so much easier to clean up this morning!!!

The way they make diapers now they often can't feel when they're wet.  Maybe training pants would help her feel the wetness.
