Last night, my spoiled cat decided to climb under the covers and snuggle up on my body pillow-against me. He does this 1-2 times a week, when it's especially chilly in our room.
He started to stretch, and paw (claw) at my belly. Normally I wouldn't care, but he's about 1 week over do for a nail trimming and it hurt, and even with a tshirt on it was poking my skin. So, I pushed him back. Seconds later, he's doing it again. I pushed him away again.
Get comfy, almost asleep, and the devil cat clawed my nipple!!! IT HURT SO BAD!!!
No more sleeping under the blanket for him.
Re: My evil cat...
Hah, that stinks. My cat acts all sweet and snuggles up, and then bites me really hard when I least expect it.
Have you ever tried soft claws? They're plastic caps that you glue to their claws. Only 1 of my 3 cats has to wear them (he's a furniture destroyer). They're easy to put on and last for about a month.

I'm glad that my cat's not the only one being snuggly and crazy. For the last week everytime I get up to pee in the middle of the night, or roll over (which requires rearrangement of the body pillows) he is in my face, crying and purring and wanting to be loved. Which would be adorable, if his favorite place to lay wasn't on my face, across my throat, or on top of my belly. So I end up having to push him away while I get settled just to have him come right back. It makes me feel bad and like a mean kitty-mommy, but I can't spend the hours of 3-7am petting the cat instead of sleeping.
