Sex still painful at nearly 3 months pp...

Anyone else?

We never have sex these days as my drive really isn't there and working + baby = one tired mama with no desire to expend more energy rolling around in the sack! (Sad, but true). 

Anyways, we tried a couple of nights ago and we had to stop because it was so painful. We used lube, but that still didn't help. We are using condoms which we never did before, so I was wondering if the rubber was irritating. 

I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem too. And if anyone had any suggestions.

I'm still having problems! Some people just heal much slower? You could always call your doc, but sometimes all it takes is time.

Also, forgot to mention I had a c-section. I would expect it to be painful after a vaginal delivery, but not this far out from a c-section delivery!

I had a vag delivery, but it's still tough. Once we get through the initial pain, though, it's almost back to normal.

still painful for me - 3 years later (yes years).  I have been to 3 OBs and a physical therapist.  Vag delivery and I had some muscle trauma.

Talk to your OB.  I use lidocaine (topical gel) that I have to insert pabout 10 minutes prior to numb the area.
