Need to make a snack/finger food for a GTG this weekend. Any favs?
In return, I highly recommend this recipe - made it this weekend and it was awesome!
Made a couple alterations:
- Didn't have Worcestershire sauce or parsley so left them out.
- Just used cucumbers and tomatoes instead of carrots and celery. They seemed like they'd be too crunchy and the substitutions added a fresh touch!
Yum!
Re: Finger Food Rec?
I usually make dips. Taco dip, chili and cream cheese dip, etc.
Bruschetta is easy. I just take pizza dough (I buy it frozen) bake it about 10 minutes at 450 . Then with 5 minutes left top with pesto and bake additional 5 minutes. Top this with chopped tomatoes and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. It's yummy.
I also like to buy sub and cut it up in finger sized portions. It's quick and I don't have to make anything.
Have fun at your GTG!
