What do you do/where do you put the baby when you go to thr grocery store? I haven't been since LO was born and not sure what to do... Do u just put the carrier in thr shopping cart? Is there still room for groceries?
Yeah, that's been a challenge. I've taken him three times, the first two times I put the carrier in a cart and, luckily, didn't have to get too much.
Today I took him to target and took his whole stroller in and put the groceries in the basket underneath...I was worried the staff would think I was trying to shop lift
I'm thinking about carrying him in his wrap until he's old enough to sit in the cart
It's a PITA to take LO to the store, I put his car seat in the basket and there isn't much room for anything else. I usually end up shoving a bunch of crap underneath the cart, which gets old fast. But if I know I have to get a bunch of stuff I usually carry him in the Moby or I make someone go with me and they can push another cart.
When we do our big shopping DH goes with me and we get 2 carts. That way we have DS2 in the seat in the cart and DS3 in the basket of a different cart. And the groceries go with DS2. If it is just me and the boys than the stuff goes in the bottom of the cart.
We keep DS in his car seat and put it in the seat thingy on the front of the cart. It actually locks in place (Graco brand). It's not like we are going to be drag racing the shopping carts. So I don't feel there's anything wrong with it.

This is what my mom told me to do, too. I tried it out once at Babies R Us and it seemed to be pretty sturdy. I also have a Graco car seat.
