Who's LO hates their car seat?

My DD hates it! She screams going in, we barely use the snap 'n go because she screams in their too! We use the uppababy and she loves the bassinet but sometimes the snap 'n go is just so much more convenient with quick trips! I took out her head support, adjustes it, we tried everything! This kid likes open space! My twin nephews would sleep in their seats all day and all night if they could! It is annoying taking her in and out of the car seat. It is so much easier sometimes to just carry her in thte seat when we go to the store or something. Anyone else? We resorted to wearinf her when we are out now, but it is still annoying to take her in and out of her seat for short trips here and there.

I thought my DD was the only baby that hated the car seat. She screams when you put her in until you take her out. Everyone says car rides calm babies down - not mine!!! We end up staying home alot because I can't handle the screaming. I go back to work soon and we have an hour drive to and from daycare. I don't know what I will do. I wish I knew why she hated it. I am thinking she doesn't like being strapped in. Let me know if you figure out a solution!!!

Fortunately, the car ride will soothe her. We have a suburban so she feels all the bumps, hears the loud vibration of the engine, and quiets down. It's only when we stop that she fusses. Make sure your DD isn't too hot and the stapes aren't super tight. Can one finger comfortably fit under the strap? Do you have a head support? Maybe she feels squished. What about a paci, do you use one?

My DD hates her seat too. She'll scream as soon as she's in it. And fuss the whole time in the truck. We did just put a head support in so maybe that's why?

I don't know how SO will feel about taking the head support out. We drive a 2500 Chev and it's really stiff and bumpy. He's scared her head will flop around too much. But she was fine in her seat before we put the support in...

 Time to test it out!

Ditto this.  Every once in a while she will fall asleep, but that is rare.  She hates to be buckled in!  I hope this stops someday because we like to go places!

My daughter is now just starting to tolerate it. The first few weeks were a nightmare going ANYWHERE with her in the car. Now she deals usually, but not for a long time.When we go far distances we try and do it around her naptime so she sleeps on the trip. (Nicer for everyone involved.)  Now to work out the sleeping at night stuff. One battle at a time.
