Barrett is in a MMO program and I am sending a letter to the parents to collect a small donation (if they choose) and then getting all 3 teachers a gift card!

Last year we did $50 gift cards for her 2 main teachers to target or walmart and $10 dunkin donuts or starbucks GC for the 2 floaters who cover lunch/bathroom breaks etc.
We will probably do the same thing this time, there not regular floaters in her room since she went to the toddler room since they take their lunch breaks during the 2 hour nap time so I'm not sure we will do anything for floaters.
I have 2 friends are teacher and while they appreciate it, I think they get tired of food and trinkets probably too (where to put them all?). I think they love gift cards.
As a former daycare teacher, it is just nice to get anything! One of the parents brought me flowers on my last day and I was so excited. One of my cats wound up knocking them over and breaking the vase and I cried.
When E just had one teacher I did a movie night gift basket for her with $1 boxes of candy, microwave popcorn and a gift cert. for a pizza and a blockbuster card. Now she has 3 and I need ideas too. One is the main teacher/owner so I will get her a bigger gift.
There are 4 people that we have to buy for that are all FT & that all work with her. I'm getting stuff from places I know they frequently shop at. Probably a $30-50 price range. It's not too bad since I shop throughout the year
I'm so glad you asked this; it's been on my mind too! So far, we've just been brainstorming and haven't decided anything yet. We've talked so far about gift certs and a gift for the school. I'm glad to hear other ideas!
Anne has two teachers, and I'm guessing we'll spend about $25-50 each.
Last year I bough each of her 5 teachers two B&BW anti-bac stuff in holiday scents. Someone on this board said that teachers hate those gifts, but Ella's teachers raved for days afterward.
I may do the same thing this year (they can always re-gift it, seriously) because she's in a new room with new teachers.

I get E's teachers that stuff for other holidays like Halloween, Easter, V-Day and they love it too.

Or, I might do amazon or Starbucks gift cards.
While I'm not as fond of bath products from my kiddos because I picky about the scent, the same is not true for the anti-bac stuff. Those are awesome to have in the bathroom, classroom, or anywhere really. Plus B&BW makes some awesome scents Gift cards are excellent gifts for teachers. Don't worry about the dollar amount. It's the thought that counts and I even love getting the $5 gift cards to McD's!

I don't think it's necessary to spend a lot.
