Does your child ever tense up randomly? DS is a really really active little tyke, always walking back and forth around our place with his toys chatting away, and loves running around outside etc. Since before he could walk, if he gets excited or sometimes it seems random he'll suddenly clench his fists usually over his head or out front and "effort" really hard making his face go red and he even shakes! He's not pooping hehe. I don't think it's involentary, because he does it back and forth with us, like a game. My MIL says it's probably because of all the energy he has, gets over-excited. I'm debating asking my dr. about it. I'd be more worried if he seemed to do it unintentionally but he definitely seems to be in control of doing it.
Anyone elses little ones do something like that? I think he's done it since around 9 months old.
Re: Mom's of really active toddlers..
Hm doing a quick search i came across this forum posting: https://community.babycenter.com/post/a1402355/tensed_shaking
EXACTLY what he does and it sounds like a lot of other moms had kids doing the same. Sounds like an excitement/frustration thing which makes sense. Again though I'll mention to my Dr.
