If you could live in a house that knew exactly what you wanted and always provided it for you (i.e. a fridge stocked with your favorite food without you having to shop; clothes in your closet based on your size/likes; home decor based on your likes; etc.) BUT it meant keeping all of your information in some sort of government database, would you still live there?
Re: Would you ever live in a "smart" house?
That's how I feel about it too Lynn lol.
FI and I were talking about this last night. He wouldn't want to live in a place like that because he doesn't like to be tracked. It took forever to get him to agree to a debit card. That kind of place would be awesome to live in!
I can't stop giggling.
me either... too funny!! I would live there and hope that my house wouldn't murder me!!
Yeah, I agree with this. I wouldn't mind a few conveniences though. But nothing that could cause a "malfunction" thereby trapping me in the house without any way to communicate with the outside world or otherwise killing me.
I would, I don't care if the gov wants to know about all my boring goings on.
LOL, I agree. I don't care about the government knowing my favourite foods or my clothing size, that's fine. But I would be afraid of the house murdering me.
