Bad mom moment of the day

I was snuggling Viv earlier trying to get her to calm down and looked down at the top of her head and noticed a slightly bloody cut. Not actively bleeding, but it clearly had bled a bit at some point in the past. 

I'm pretty sure I did t to her with either a fingernail or the keys earlier this afternoon, since I vaguely remember whacking the top of her head. But I don't remember how. And she didn't cry, so it took me several hours to notice. Bad mom!  How did I manage to smack her head enough to break the skin and not really notice?

Don't stress too much, it's a little accident and things happen. Amelia fell down the stairs at 6 months because I didn't know she could crawl/climb...nice huh?

Agree with KelleyA.

Babies can scratch and scrape so easily.  If she didn't cry and she's not in such shape you need to have a clinician work her over, "rub some dirt on it" and move on guilt free! :-)
