STTN/Crib Transition question....

My DD is almost 12 weeks...last night was the first night she slept in her crib (i'm going back to work soon and want to get her in there before that when it doesn't matter if i haven't slept :)).  she did well...woke up about 4, gave her the paci, again at 5:30 and then got up for good and to eat at 7.

she is on a 3-4 hour eating schedule during the day and i try to make sure her last bottle is close to 10 or 11 o'clock.

here is my question...should i be going in and giving the paci, or, do i wait and see if she stops making noise...it isn't really a cry...more like an "anh" but loud and forceful.  Not sure how long it would have lasted had i waited.  When she was in the pnp, i could just roll over and do it.  also, in the pnp, she basically slept until anywhere b/w 5-7.

 Any help would be appreciated.

Re: STTN/Crib Transition question....

  • I still go in and give him back his paci when he starts fussing.  Sometimes it doesn't happen at all in a night, sometimes it's more times than I choose to count, but I know that if I didn't there is a definate possibility that he would fully wake.

  • DS goes to bed aboyt 9 and also fusses about 3.  We give him his paci and he stays asleep until 6 or 7.  I tried not giving it to him but then he really wakes himself up and then wants to eat and so on at 3am.
  • thanks ladies!

i couldn't remember if i read somewhere they would get used to u giving them the paci and not go back w/o it...not that it matters...
