NBR: Anniversary gift ideas for my husband

Our first anniversary is sunday and we've been so busy that I almost forgot. Any ideas for a gift for DH? What do u and ur DH/SO do/get for your anniversary? TIA

my husband is into racecars, so I am giving him money for a set of wheels that he wants - goes with the paper theme of the first anniversary gift. I would rather just buy the wheels, which I might even do, and then just give him something else on paper haha.

We were going to try and go back to the resort in Puerto Rico where we got married ... but, I was too pregnant!!  Then DD was born 5 days later!  I think we had a nice dinner at home, that's it!    We're celebrating our second anny in a tropical location though, probably the Bahamas.

Our first is coming up, too. We've decided to go traditional for a gift. However, we're trying to do something creative. I still don't know what I am getting him, but it will be something paper/plastic/clock-ish.

So you could try a gift that has something to do with paper/plastic/clock!

For our first anniversary my husband was doing pre-deployment training so I went home to be with my family. He ended up driving the 9 hours to KS to suprise me! We ended up going out to dinner and he took me to see Eclipse. (I'm a big Twilight nerd.) We didn't really do presents, just spent time together.

if you just recently had a baby, I'd let him get out of the house and do something that's not related to diapers and breasmilk:)
