What did you serve?

or will you serve

at your LO's baptism/dedication/christening?

Re: What did you serve?

  • Nothing.  Baptism will be at Church and then whoever wants will just go out to breakfast. A lot less stress/hassle.

  • I had people over for brunch, I served sloppy joes, pasta salad, devilled eggs, and peach bars.
  • We're doing a buffet lunch at an Italian restaurant, so this is what we picked for the buffet: salad, bread, mini focaccia sandwiches, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, tortellini, pasta primavera, eggplant rolatini, & chicken francese. Then we'll have the cake of course.

  • We are serving sliced roast beef sandwiches with sauteed (sp?) mushrooms and onions, ranch n bacon salad, macaroni salad, bagel dip, and cake. I'm going to have lemonade in a punch bowl and then there will also be pop.

  • The baptism is at 1 p.m., so I think I'm going to do deli sandwiches, a veggie tray, fruit salad and cake.
  • We're here in Louisiana so we served red beans and rice with sausage and chicken/sausage gumbo. We had a fruit and veggie tray and spinach dip as appetizers. I recommend something you can mass produce ahead of time.
