What to do with extra diapers?

We just went to size one diapers but have about 30 newborns left over.

I was hoping to stretch the newborns out so there wouldn't be any waste, but we had a few blowouts.

We aren't sure if we are going to have another baby, and if we do it will most likely be several years from now, so I don't see any point in holding on to them.

We gave our remaining NB diapers to some friends of ours who had premies.  So even though they are the same age as DS, they are much smaller.  Have any friends with younger or smaller babies?  If not, maybe you could give them to your daycare or a shelter or something like that?

put them on Craigslist or Freecycle.org and give them to someone who needs them. no point in holding on to them.

Unfortunately not, they are all bigger than he is and I don't know anyone that is expecting.

I like the idea of donating them to a shelter. I didn't think of that.

There's pregnancy crisis shelters that could use them. I think they supply moms who can't afford the necessities.

We just sucked it up and used the newborn ones until they ran out. We did have a few blow outs, but diapers are expensive! I couldn't just get rid of them.

We use them until they run out!!  However, I had some sample packs and a dollar store gift pack that I didn't use and I gave them away via www.freecycle.org.

I donated them to the nursery at my church.

DD1 potty trained, so we donated her leftover diapers to the daycare, for a kid who forgot to replensih their stash.  Another daycare mom had a baby this week, and she needed NB sized diapers and we had a whole case for DD2, who wore NB for about 3 days, lol, so we just gave them to her.  We gave her a bunch of NB clothes, too, that DD 2 never could wear.
