xp: extra sleepy baby?

I posted this on 3-6 months but didn't get any answers.

DD has been extra sleepy and fussy the last few days.  She sleeps quite a bit usually and melts down easily if she gets over tired, but usually she can be up for 1-2 hours a few times a day, and at least once per day for a solid 2 hours.  Then she'll be tired, she'll nurse and will go to sleep.

The last couple of days though I swear all she wants to do is eat and sleep.  I was staying at a hotel with DH while he put on a conference for work, and every time I tried to leave the hotel for a walk with DD she would melt down within just a few minutes- even in the bjorn which is usually the cure all!

So does this sound like a 12 week growth spurt???  Her previous growth spurts were just extra eating (I think).  I don't feel like she's eating more, just getting upset easier and more quickly.  I'm at my wits end after two days stuck in a hotel room.

Isla has eaten more during her growth spurts...but I've noticed recently (even at 8 weeks) that a lot of the time she fusses because she wants a change of scenery. She seems to get bored...showing her around our place or putting her in the swing or playmat usually works for a bit. I'm sorry your are stuck in a hotel room. Hopefully the little one will get some rest soon!

Could also be that traveling has worn your LO out, maybe? My 8 week old sleeps a ton.  Even more when we have visitors or are traveling
