Why is it that I can try off and on for hours to get C to take a nap, but DH can just pick him up, pat his back a few times, and lay him in his crib and he falls right to sleep? I could do the same thing and C would just scream.

It's so frustrating but I am just grateful that he is getting some much needed sleep.

My dad is like the baby whisperer. He can pick up any fussy baby and they instantly calm down. Seriously, I've seen it done dozens of times.

You're mommy, duh!!!!  When you walk away, baby C gets upset - he could care less when DH walks away

This has never happened for me.  K gets more mad when Timm comes in the room.  She wants her momma.  I have to say while that is very annoying, I wish it were the case over here.
