Halloween ?

I went shopping today to find my DS a halloween costume.  He was born on Oct 1st, so he will need a small costume.  We live in South Texas, still having warm weather.  The only male baby costumes I found were made of very heavy material.  Not very cute and I feel would be way too hot.  What are you doing for a costume this year?????

Riley is being a cow its adorable and i got it from the Carters/Osh Kosh outlet..its size 0-3 months..they probally have it on there website, but it may be too late to order by now.

Same issue here with it being too hot in FL for the costumes made for NB's. I got creative, DD#1 was 4.5 months on her first halloween and I made her a ballerina (tutu, plain onesie, ballerina socks, and flower headband). DD#2 will be 2.5 months and I am making her a fairy (tie-dyed onesie, wings, flower headband). I dont have a boy so that's harder... hmmm if my LO was that small I might just do one of thoes outfits with 'my first Halloween' on it.

Thankfully DD will fit in her costume (a peanut costume) but if she wasn't, we'd just get a first Halloween outfit like PP suggested.

I live in south TX too and we're ordering our costume online. It's still pretty heavy though, but it's been getting into the low 50's at night and will just keep getting cooler. I think what your seeing in the stores will be fine for night time.

H and DD are being Alan and Carlos from the Hangover. At least your DS could wear just a blue onesie!  

We also got her a ducky costume at Kohls and it's sleeveless, so maybe something there?  I'll be putting her in a ls onesie, but you wouldn't have to.

haha love it!  I love that movie and can watch it 1000 times and still LMFAO!

DS3 is being a banana and DS2 is being the monkey.

My LO is being a ladybug!  She is almost 6 weeks, but still under 7 lbs.  I ended up getting her a coatume from Target...its like fleece pjs with a hood.  It is super cute but guaranteed to fit.  It may be too warm for the south, but it would fit since it comes in standard baby sizes.  They had a monkey & a ladybug.

babies r us had a sleeper gown that is a ghost costume and that is what E is going to be...maybe check there?

I learned from DS 1 first Halloween that a hot baby is an unhappy baby

So no costume this year for the baby

DS1 is going as Batman & Logan (DS2) is wearing a batman onesie I picked up at Baby Gap

I saw those ones!  our target also had a fleece bat costume. 

They also had one-piece in like a thermal material that came w/ a hat and booties in a ladybug, tiger, pumpkin and cow.  We got the tiger one.  They were lightweight and comfy.  But there are 2 target stores near us and only one had these costumes by Carter's.  So they might not carry them in every store.
