Thanks for the app recipes below! The happy hour was a success. I ended up not making any of the recipes you suggested (Embarrassed) because on the way home, I remembered Michael's aunt makes a crazy easy, crazy delicious artichoke dip.  I called her, picked up the ingredients, made it & it was a HIT. I wrote down some of your suggestions, though, for next time!

This is her recipe:

2-8oz packages of cream cheese

1-14oz can of quartered artichokes

1-5oz bag of shredded parm cheese (I used a 6oz bag)

1 clove minced garlic (I used minced garlic from the jar)

1 c. sour cream

3-4 finely diced jalapenos (I bought the already-diced kind & only used a heavy pinch. We're not spicy people.)

 

Mix it all together, put in a baking dish, bake uncovered @ 400F for 10 min. Remove, stir, put back for another 10. Repeat until it's ooey gooey creamy goodness. :) I bought fresh baked whole wheat bread and cubed it into chunks for dipping.
