8 weeks PP Question TMI

So I was cleared for sex at 6 weeks, and she said everything looks fine. I did ask about pain, and she said sometimes that can be normal for up to 3 months. We attempted at 6 weeks and it just was way too painful, we tried again last night and still hurts. We used tons of lube.The pain almost feels like tearing/sharp.  Totally TMI but I feel like a virgin over here, haha.

I didn't tear or anything! Had a very quick labor and delivery...

I had an episiotomy (sp) and sex made me feel sore where my stitches were. Definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. I just stuck it out until it felt better. We did it at 5weeks pp. Everyone is different. Only do it when you're ready.

With DD I had a couple internal stitches but was cleared at 6 weeks for sex. However we didn't try until at about 3 months and it was a definite no-go! way too painful. We didn't actual get to 'complete the act' until at about 8 months and it still hurt but was bearable (for DH's sake-lol) and didn't return to not being painful until right around a year.

I'm only 4 weeks pp this go around but I feel so much better off than last time I think sex will go alot better this time as soon as I'm cleared and might not be painful for so long.

My LO is almost 3 months, uncomplicated delivery, and it still hurts. It's not awful, but it definitely hurts. I give it a go once a week, as it seems like it hurts more the LESS you try it.
