I didn't have one of these for Evan, but I want to get one since its going to be hard to get around with a newborn and a toddler. Also want something that is supportive for a newborn.
Check out the Attachment Parenting board as well, I've been doing some searching over there for what carrier to get.
This. And I have a moby wrap which DD and I both absolutely love, she practically lives in the moby. From my research, the moby seems to be favored for newborns as you can get them really snug against your body, but starts to sag more when they get a bit heavier. We also have a Baby Bjorn, it's very mediocre. We're getting an Ergo Sport carrier today off craigslist. Also check out TBW (www.thebabywearer.com)

Exactly that! The Moby is awesome. Other things I tried worried me with LO's head positioning, but the Moby lets them be upright and against my chest. I love it.
We only have the Ergo w/ infant insert. We were never really interested in a Moby or sling... We have the Ergo sport, and love it. It's a little warm...but as we head to winter, it will be perfect.

I don't know if I'll still like it when she gets older but for now it totally rocks! Not to mention . . . $11!!!
I have a different wrap I don't like - got it at a garage sale, new in box for $5, a baby bjorn that someone gave me, not sure I like that. . . I wouldn't mind getting a moby wrap, but so far the jelly bean is great! It even has a pocket that's perfect for the pacifier. Plus I love the pink and brown pattern!
We have the Ergo and the Pikkolo...they are very similar, but the Pikkolo doesn't require the infant insert and also has the option of having the baby face forward (once he has good neck control). I like the Pikkolo better (it just seems easier for me, and also is a better match for my narrow shoulders, as the straps are criss-crossed in the back, unlike the Ergo). The Pikkolo rests higher up on the waste/hips, too, which just seems more natural/comfortable to me.
I love our Ergo with the infant insert. I tried to put DD in w/o the insert the other day and she still seems too small.
Though as much as I love it, it can be cumbersome and I have a tough time getting the top snapped behind my shoulders, so I'm also investing in a Moby wrap. I got one of the Seven Slings and was surprised how much I liked it (never thought I was a sling/wrap person) so it was worth the $10 to realize that. Now I'm just waiting to use my 20% off coupon at BRU to get the Moby.

I got a jellybean sling at TJ Max for around $11 and I'm loving it. You can see me wearing it in a picture here:
