Success after IF

Update on my Niece. I still do not understand.

SIL jut got home with her, she has ecoli bacteria infection in her bladder and a viral upper respitory infection.  I just can not understand how the hospital could send the little baby home so quickly when she has these infections.

  • Poor baby! I am sorry your sister is going through this. When brady was 19 days old he was in the hospital and ended up havnig surgery for pyloric steninos. They let him go home after 2 days and he was there again 11 days later for staph infection for a few days. They told me that they prefer not to keep little babies in the peds unit any longer than they have to because they are more at risk to pick up something else while in thehospital. Just tell your sister if she thinks she needs to take her back do it, don't think twice. When Brady got the staph infection I kept calling saying it looked red (incision site) and they said it was normal!  Sure enough it was infected. She just has to go with her mommy insticts!

  • How old is your niece?  E was hospitalized for 3 days for a virus at 2 months just so they could give him tylenol and keep him hydrated and monitor his temps.

Poor baby.  I hope she gets to feeling better soon.

  • She is almost a month old.
