started BCP before AF, now bleeding?

I started BCP a few weeks ago after my 6 week follow up.  At that point I didn't get AF yet, but my doctor said it was ok to start.  I'm about 2 weeks in and I started spotting, very lightly, a few days ago.  But now I am bleeding more like AF?  Could this be my period?  I have very, very minor cramps, more like a tingling feeling than pain.  Can I expect it again in a few weeks when I take sugar pills?

I started the mini pill and had AF-like bleeding within a few days of starting. It lasted about a week. It has been five weeks since then and no "real" AF. I am just as confused as you  are lol. HTH!
