Pump Problem...(possible TMI)

This morning at work I was pumping and normally I get anywhere from 4-6 ounces out at my morning session, this morning I only got BARELY 2 ounces out of my right side and a few drops out of my left! Anyone ever had this happen? Now I'm hurting a bit, but I won't be able to pump again for a little while...my pump sounded different (Medla Pump In Style Shoulder Bag) and my left nipple was barely affected by the pump....help!! Hopefully my next session will go better???

Did you have the tubes pushed in all the way and the white thing hooked up all the way?

Check your membranes (the little white thingies inside the bottle). Last time I had that happen and freaked out, one of those wasn't in the whole way. It had a HUGE effect and I was shocked.

I have that pump. I was convinced it was broken one time until I realized that the yellow piece that you have to slide into place wasn't pushed in all the way and also, the white flap wasn;t down completely flat, so there was a big loss of suction.

On a completely different note, when I get stressed out about milk production, like before my supply was really established well, sometimes I would cry or get upset when I didn't see enough coming out and that definitely made it worse.
