numb hips

has anyone experienced numb hips, especially overnight? my dr says its obviously because im sleeping for long periods of time on either side of my body since i can no longer sleep on my back or belly.

sometimes when i wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom it takes me a while to even straighten up and walk.

That used to happen to me when I was PG with Carley. Have you tried using a body pillow?

That happens to me, but my shoulders. The body pillow helps. I miss sleeping on my belly!

Oh, yes. A body pillow and any other pillow arrangement does nothing to help alleviate it. I hope you get some relief soon!

thanks girls! i already sleep with 6 pillows though

i was just worried it could be related to my herniated disc since this never happened with my 1st.

Yikes! I'd bring it up to your OB and see what he/she says. Maybe they'll refer you to a specialist to make sure it's not the herniated disk bothering you. Good luck!!
