switched to Gentlease - DD is VERY hungry and has pasty poop...??

I BF DD for about 2-3 weeks and supplemented with Target formula (comparable to Enfamil).  About 2 weeks ago she started getting very gassy and fussy.  A few days ago I bought some Target formula that is comparable to Gentlease.  She seems to like it, but maybe too much? It seems like she's always hungry now.  Her poop today was also more pasty (sorry for the TMI)... since she's born her poops are "explosive" and she's had several blow outs.  It was also a mix of colors today... are these things normal with Gentlease, or could it just be from switching?

FF babies don't have as many blow outs, poop isn't quite as liquidy   The mix of colors is probably from the switch.  Not sure about why she's hungry she could be going through a little growth spurt though!  GL!

That is the only kind that doesn't cause problems for DD.  

I would say everything is normal except the various colors.  You may want to talk to your pedi about that!

If your LO is extra hungry she may be hitting a growth spirt.  Just feed her as much as she wants to keep her happy!

gentlease is partially broken down already so digestion is easier, our pedi had us switch to enfamil premium lipil and use a slow flow nipple and vent aire bottle to help him slow down eating and reduce gas- it seems to be working... good luck!
