I really can't believe how little research people do before they decide to have a baby.
I know I'm an over researcher but there are some baby related questions I wouldn't expect from someone who was trying.... (granted I have no idea what to do with an actual baby - I've only gotten to the creating baby part).
This like "should I be taking any specific vitamins? I've heard others mention x,y, z" She hasn't been taking any - and didn't even list a PRENATAL vitamin as something she's heard she should take?!?
When do I need to see my dr? (I maybe get this one but really - you've tested... at some point you tell your dr and they tell you when to come in)
And her period was about a month ago but she was feeling nauseous about 2 or 3 weeks ago so who knows how far along she is (maybe she had regular spotting while pregnant?)
She's never had to find her own Dr? I knew she was young but it just kills me that it can be so easy for some people.
I know I'm overly sensitive but this shiit kills me. I have so much theoretical knowledge and it gets me no where. :P Plus, I'm irritated that no one has been able to help me out with my fibroid removal questions.
Re: Can it really be that easy for people?

Today I am pregnant & I love my baby!
So a few months ago when DH and I talked and deiced I was going off the pill and we were going to try...I did a bit of research myself, talked to friends who had babies and looked online and all.
I talked to DH about what I found out and he said something that made me think- there are a ton of ppl out there who have kids with out taking prenatals, with out seeing a dr or all that stuff (btw I am taking prenatals and will do things as suggested!) But sad and true some ppl just don't care and still have healthy babies. Heck there are ppl who have kids that still drink alcohol or smoke or do other drugs. It makes me sad more thing anything that these ppl reproduce when they don't seem mature enough to take care of a child.
and I am sure on here there are women who have done everything right and still are waiting for a plus sign on the pee stick.
You have stumbled into the wrong arena.
