2 mo old only wanting to nap on me :(

First of all sorry I know this has been discussed before.

Should I not worry sbout this yet? He will fall asleep fine but he sleeps 10-15 min tops in his pnp or crib. I do swaddle and rock him. I feel like we are getting to the point where I should be able to put him down or is he still too young?

 I don't want to start something I won't be able to deal with later...any advice?

Also when do they start having consistent naps?...I know its a ways down the road and every baby is different but just curious.

I'm going through the same thing.  Ever since I started swaddling her at night, she can't take her naps in the rock & play without waking up before too long.  I guess I have to swaddle for naps too.  I do like having her sleep on me though, but it makes it tough when I want to take advantage of nap time & actually do something other than lay there.

Some babies just do this.......my daughter wouldn't sleep anywhere but in our arms for the first 5 months, night time and nap times.  She finally stopped napping on the couch with me at 11 months old, when we did CIO in her crib.  The first year goes by sooo fast, just enjoy it and take the time to snuggle them!  And if you need to get things done get yourself a good comfy wrap to put baby in while sleeping!  GL!
