growth spurts?

When are the typical growth spurts? Our LO was born at 9lb 7oz, is 2 1/2 weeks old and at an appt a few days ago he was nearly 11 lbs. He's been really fussy the last couple of days where he normally was pretty calm and content. I'm wondering if he's already going through a growth spurt, but it seems kinda early to me. But I'm a new mom and have no idea! lol. What do you all think?

I think the first one is anywhere between 1 and 3 weeks so it's definitely possible.
