If MILs weren't so stupid...

what would we vent about?  MIL pissed me off again as usual.  I work at a childcare center and the infant room is full on Thursdays so LO goes to MIL.  She offered to do this even though she does work.  She said it would be no problem to get off since it's pretty flexible.  This Thursday a child happened to be going on vacation so LO could come with me, but since MIL had already taken it off I still had him go there.

Well DH goes to drop him off and his mom says, "Oh, "so and so" is coming over to watch him at 10 until I get home from work at 2:30".  Um.....what???  I could have brought him with me and snuggled him on my break and checked on him like I always do, but instead he got tossed back and forth between different people all day and is now super overly tired and cranky!!!!  GRRRR!  Seriously need to find another solution ASAP!

Not to side with MIL's at all lol but you should have told her you had room for him today. That's what you get for considering her  :P

 

And why didn't DH say oh no, i'd rather him be with mommy?

We did tell her there was room for him, but she still wanted him.  DH was already running late for work and didn't have time to drop him off at my work.  I guess that's what we get [:/]
