what were your #'s?? my Doc said to pass I had to be under 135, mine came back 142. so i'm scheduled for the 3hr next week. she seemed pretty confident that all will come back fine & that my #s are so close that something may just have been off. just want to know what other people's experiences were.

I ate normally the day before, and fasted from 9:00 PM til after the test the next morning at 9:00.  I only had sips of water, per the instructions they gave me.  My number was 103.

My doctor didn't give me numbers.  He told me that no news is good news.  I haven't heard from them in a week, so I'm assuming I passed??  I wish they gave me numbers.

I'm pretty sure the nurse mumbled to me on the phone that my number was 89 when she told me that I passed.  I won't know for sure until my next appointment on the 26th.

So I had my 1hr last week and my numbers were high so I had my 3 hr today. AHHH it sucked! I tried to sleep but they had to take blood every hour so that didn't work out well. Good luck!

They told me on Tuesday when I went for my test that I had to be below 140 and I was 150. Going back Monday for the 3 hour test bleh.

This exactly. I might call later this week to see how close I would. I think it would still be valuable to watch what I'm eating more if I was super close!

I just took it yesterday so I don't have my results yet, but I had read that they often use 140 as the number you have to be below, in which case you'd be even closer to ok, so hopefully all is well! Sorry you have to take the 3 hr.

Good to know! Mr Dr kind of said she didn't think I had it either but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

definitely think i'm going in some comfy clothes, I'll just change at work. they told me to catch up on sleep too, but i don't see it happening. hope you get good news soon!

I was worried I wouldnt pass since I eat sugars everyday, cant live without my cookies and milk and I did eat cookies and milk the night before lol I fast starting around 10pm went in at 7am yesterday and today i was told I passed with 106 can't remember anymore what the scale was but I think it has to be below 130-136?

My one hour test was 162.   I passed the three hour test.  If you are taking the three hour test, please note that you need to be vigilant about making sure the technicians don't forget you.  At my center, they are constantly handling new patients and don't have time to watch the clock for you.  I was told to go back at each hour on my own and remind them it was time.  Everything worked out fine for me, but another lady waited in the reception room for them to get her, and by the time she spoke up it was too late and her test had to be stopped and she had to start over again the next day.
