anyone else in pain?

I'm not sure how to describe it, it's this horrible pain on the upper inside of my thighs, almost where my leg attaches to my groin. It feels like I pulled or tore muscle or ligaments there. If I'm sitting with my legs up (like in bed or on the couch) I can't cross my legs. I have to lift one to put it over the other one. Turning over at night is a killer, I have to grab DH's arm to help. It is worse at night than during the day. I chase DD around all day but when I sit down for dinner for 20-30 minutes. I literally feel like I can't walk when I go to stand up. At first it was just annoying but now I'm getting worried, it hurts so much. My next apt. is the 20th but I'm not seeing my ob, it's another dr in the practice. Actually the one who delivered DD but I don't really like her. I don't feel like it's an emergency and I don't know if there is anything that can be done about it. Is this a second time mom thing?

Yes I have the same thing. It's been there for several weeks now. I asked my OB if I should feel like my pelvis is falling apart and his reply "well it is and it will get worse with every pregnancy". Well thank you for all the encouragement, lol! So therefore I believe it's normal. Some days are better than others. Hope it gets better for you.

I have the exact pain you described in my right leg. It turns walking into a seriously painful ordeal.

I've noticed that LO has shifted position in the past couple of days- he's sitting further out front and is kicking areas in my ribs much harder than before. I called my physical therapist just to see what she would say and she told me that some RLP can feel like a groin pull. Basically, she said give it a 3 days or so with a lot of rest and see if it improves.

That's not very encouraging but at least I don't feel like a freak of nature : )

Your pain sounds a little different than mine...mine is in the back and front and makes it really hard to put on pants and walk sometimes.  My doc said it's due to some hormone that is causing stuff down there to loosen up so that during labor there is enough room for LO to come out.  Makes sense I guess.

I knew about the loosening thing and experienced that with DD. This is way more painful.
