poop at every diaper change

Every time I change my DS's diaper, he either has poop, or a smear of poop, but he does have some diapers that are just urine. Is this normal?

I mean the majority of the time its a smear of poop, and about 3-4 really soiled diapers, and maybe 2-3 just wet diapers daily

Maybe it's him sharting. Yes, I just said/typed that. That has been happening with V, too.

 Lol that is exactly what we call it too! Sometimes if she passes gas she will have a few sharts here and there which result in a skid mark of poop!!
