Ok so they're not really related.. but two questions:
1. How much of a schedule is your baby on?? I guess I can say the most schedule N is on is the eat, awake, sleep.. for the most part. The actual times vary from day to day, but are fairly close (maybe an hour or so off depending on when he gets up in the morning..) His feedings range anywhere from 2 to 4 sometimes even 5 hours apart! I'm wondering at what point he'll kind of "level out" and be on a more consistant schedule. His nighttime is about the same.. feedings anywhere from 3-5 hours apart.
2. N is almost 8 weeks old and he holds his head pretty much on his own.. occasionally he'll start to droop forward but usually I can "sit" him on my lap and hold him under his arms/by his waist and he'll turn his head, look around.. Some family members acted like it was too early for him to be doing this, I thought it seemed age appropriate... When did your baby start this? He also rolls from his side/belly to his back and just recently has made an attempt to go back on his side (isnt quite happening yet!) We think he's a strong boy but I'm guessing this too is age appropriate..
Re: 1 Schedule question and 1 motor skills question..
1. My baby is not on a schedule yet either! She does sttn but, she is all over the place with everything else lol.
2. Mine was doing those things as well. She can roll from her stomach to her back, now she is trying to roll from her back to her stomach and almost does it, she has always had amazing control of her head, and now she is trying to sit up. She is kinda semi advanced for her age. lol
1. He makes his own schedule.
2. He's rolled over a few times for about a week. His ped didn't believe us till he rolled from his tummy to his back at his 2 week appt... So proud of the little guy
1. DS is on a 3 hour schedule. His day starts at 6 am when we wake him up. After that, we feed every three hours. Sometimes I will vary it by 30 minutes so his schedule fits into my day better. Like if we have an appt or I'm meeting someone for lunch, I might feed him 30 minutes earlier so he is happy and awake for our appt.
2. DS doesn't roll over yet, but has very good head control. I carry him upright against my shoulder all the time and he looks around. This is how he prefers it. I would say that your LO is advanced in the rolling over arena, but maybe on track for head control.
1. yup mine makes his own schedule as well hahaha, but he only wakes up for 2 feeds at night, down from 3-4
2.DS had full neck control around 4 weeks and still has only rolled from tummy to side , those darn arms of his get in the way! haha DS is very appt. on walking around now, I hold his waist and he walks around the room and up my body at a good pace! Im worried he might skip crawling..
