NIFR Update on my post from yesterday T&P if you can spare them!

So, it looks like the initial idea that my Grandma had a stroke is correct. The Dr. had said that it was her Alzheimer's aggravated by a bladder infection. But now, she is showing signs of having difficulty swallowing and not speaking normally. I have not been to visit her yet, but will likely go tomorrow. I do not deal well with this kind of thing since i lost my Mom to brain cancer in 2005. I like to remember people the way they were before they got sick, and it took a long time for me to forget my Mom the way she was when she was sick.

Anyway if you have any thoughts and prayers to spare, they would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm very sorry about your grandma. I hope that she is ok and is able to bounce back.  (((hugs)))

    The doctor could be correct though, both of those symptoms are alzheimer symptoms.  My grandmother passed away from alzheimer's almost 10 yrs ago.  It is a very hard disease on the family.  Hang in there.

    I'm so, so sorry!  I will keep your grandma in my T&P's.  I also lost my Dad a few years ago after a bought with brain cancer.  Lots of hugs!!!!

    6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM 7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle! 9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.     Married '02, TTC May '05

    Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
    2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's
    After 7yrs TTC, 5yrs of ute cancer, and 11 failed IF treatments, we got a surprise BFP! So thankful!

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.
