Do you have an Itzbeen?

If you have an Itzbeen Baby Care Timer, is it useful or is it just an extra thing I'll never really use?

It was useful for about the first month.  Now, I don't use it anymore because the kiddo has put herself on a pretty predictable schedule and I no longer need to count her number of soiled diapers or the number of times she eat a day.  She also makes it pretty clear when she's ready for a nap.

I think they are very useful.  I now have two as a friend included one in a basket of gifts for Lance, Im going to be selling it if you are interested.  It is brand new though it is out of the packaging.  (She took everything out of the packaging to make it 'look cuter in the basket', lol)

DH and I used the Itzbeen religiously the first month LO was home.  It was super helpful for us to keep track of when I last fed LO and from which breast and also diaper changes but being a paranoid and exhausted new mom, I also kept the log the hospital gave me so I would know how many wet and poopie diapers LO had each day.

I agree!  LIfe saver the first month!  When you aren't used to changing diapers everyday, sometimes you don't think about it very much.  I don't know if that sounds bad or not, but LO pooped all day long a little here and a little there.  We couldn't change her diaper every 5 minutes, so we would use the timer and check it every hour or so.  Now we know if she even has a we diaper! She tells us : )

Oh man we loved that thing....not using it much anymore but it was incredible to have in the beginning.  We could keep track of everything (including my post-section pain meds) on one device and could easily hand it off to one another. 

Now I use the nightlight at night and sometimes hit the sleep button to see how long DD is sleeping.

Highly recommend.  It's a good price on amazon.  I am buying one for a shower I have to go to next month!

I got the "Baby Timer" App for my Iphone for $5 and it does the exact same thing.
