DH's favorite nana is in the hospital after having back surgery and they discovered tumors in her lungs and a 9mm tumor in her kidney.We're going to visit her right now. She's such a sweetheart I can't imagine loosing her.

I am so sorry. Thoughts and prayers coming your way. I lost my grandfather to lung and kidney cancer and it was absolutely devastating to our family because we didn't even know anything was wrong until it was too late.

Thank you ladies. She really enjoyed our short visit with her. We took DS with us and he got a little nervous about all the machines hooked up to her and the noises they were making.

As for her diagnosis she will have her kidney removed tomorrow and if all goes well they may do chemo soon to help reduce the lung tumors. She looked in real bad shape. Just hoping she'll make it through the holidays. She's only 63.
