Recently I was offered a "pool" position at a hospital here in Phoenix, which is the same hospital my mom was at before she passed (it will be 8 years ago tomorrow.  I toured the facility today with the lady who will be my manager, and dreaded having to be on the same floor where my mom was when she was sick.  Thankfully they have completely remodeled almost every area of the hospital since she was there and nothing even remotely looked familiar.

I'm so sorry about your mom. I can't imagine having to go back to that place, but I'm glad it's all been redone enough that it doesn't hurt as much. Hope it all goes well with the new job. Feel free to vent as needed, I'll read it if I'm bumping. *hugs*

I'm so sorry about your mom but glad that it was all remodeled so you didn't have a ton of reminders in your face.  DH's mom passed away when we were in college (it will be 8 yrs next April).  I know how hard it still can be even after a lot of time has passed.  If you ever need to vent I'm here. ((hugs)
