f/u Neutrogena Skin ID

Hi Ladies!
I had mentioned last week that I bought the Neutrogena Skin ID package and a few of you requested that I let you know how it works....

Well...I'm sending it back. I started using it Saturday and today I have a horrible rash all over my face.  I look like I've been sitting in the sun for hours with no sunscreen - it's puffy and ITCHY!  I'm embarrassed to be seen at work like this, but it's happened before with certain cleansers, so I know it'll go away in another day or two.  I'm just bummed that in all this, my face is still breaking out and now I have this rash all over.....ugh.

Anyway, I would say that if you have sensitive skin like me, I would stay away from this stuff.... it's not worth is.  I guess it's back to the drawing board!

  • I just Cetaphil, and love it.  It's not over drying and still works well with my oily skin.  Out of all the facial cleansers I've used it's by far my favorite and relatively cheap if you buy the Target brand version.

  • I don't blame you! I used this too and I wound up cancelling. The first shipment was fine, they sent me my "ID" system which involves Benzoyl Peroxide, not Salicylic Acid (it does nothing for me). Then, they shipped my my next month's supply and I noticed I was breaking out again...I checked the bottle and lo and behold, they sent me the wrong ID face wash (sent the one with Salicylic Acid)! I called and asked them to ship me the right one and they said they sent that one on purpose because they were all out of mine...I told them to cancel my subscription on the spot...I'm not paying $$$ for something that's not going to work on me! I couldn't believe it, they said they shipped that one because they were all out of mine...lame!

I use Cetaphil as well, because it doesn't dry out my dry skin.  Every dermatologist I have been to recommends it.
