I have had two family showers and have piles of clothes and other babyness to sort through and organize. Any of you have good suggestions about how to tackle this?
I have a bunch of clothes, so one night I spent an hour sorting through the sizes. I noticed that several sizes were so close in the 9-18 month range, so it helped to sort so I could get a better sense of how different brands run and what sizes I still needed.
bins are on sale at Target this week for $5, stock up!
Also, I know a lot of ppl say to wash and remove the tags. I wish I wouldn't have done this b/c we didn't wear so many of the clothes we got at the shower b/c he was so big or just outgrew them too quickly, plus ppl got us the wrong size for the season.
I've got bins upon bins to go through for this little one just to see what I have that is gender neutral to start (team green).
I have 3-4 Steriline/Rubbermaid small baskets in our linen closet for extra baby toiletries/medicine/etc. I have a couple of storage things like this on my registry for her extras (toys, books, clothing, whatever).
I got one of these for her shoes/headbands. (except I got mine on Amazon for way cheaper)

And this rack for extra diapers/wipes/whatever.
Also, 2 of the big tubs that are commonly used for storage -- 1 for outgrown baby clothes as she grows; one for storing my maternity clothes.
