If you pump at work...

How do you keep your pump parts clean between pumping sessions?  I'm trying to find the most efficient way to do this....TIA

  • Quick Clean wipes first then Quick Clean Microwave bags (both by Medela).  Dishwasher when I am at home.

  • do you have a fridge you can use?  i just throw mine in a ziploc bag and stick them in the fridge - no rinsing necessary.  i then take them and clean at home in the evenings.
  • I just rinse mine off really well with super hot water then dry with a paper towel.

  • I'm a hot water rinser too.  I brought my Medela steam bags the first couple days, but that was too much work.

This.  The fridge slows the growth of bacteria.

  • I rinsed them with hot water and then dried with a paper towel like some others have said :)
