HAHA.

This is always a topic of interest.

Yes its called holyndyetse (the phonetic way of pronouncing it in Russian). This is a traditional Russian dish made at special times. It is made with beef or chicken and you put it in gelatin. Just plain, clear gelatin. I believe you make a broth and that is used as the hot water for the gelatin mix. You eat it with horseradish.

Wow...sounds...interesting...

One of my students is actually from Russian and lived there until she was 9 or 10...I'll have to ask her about this the next time I see her!

are you sure you dont want any - MIL  and GMIL (who is in the US from Russia for the winter) are coming for New Years, I am sure they will be more than happy to make extra! (New Years is the big celebration in Russia)
