I'm feeling a real lack of motivation to do work. As an English teacher, I have a ton of paperwork to do, plus lesson plans to create. Any tips for getting through the work day with a modicum of work done by the end?
What have you been doing to make yourself concentrate on something other than baby?

Re: Getting through the day...
it's hard and I don't have too much work that involves a lot of mental concentration.. but when I need to buckle down and deal with bills, for example, I make myself a cup of coffee with extra cream and sugar and something not too messy to snack on.. sit my but down at the kitchen table, usually light a candle so it smells extra good in there.. and get down to biznass.
the kitchen table.. especially since H left I don't eat there anymore.. has become my "concentration space" maybe you could find yourself a little corner you haven't used in a while.. sit on the porch if it's not too cold/hot/windy.. I dunno but I think finding a new space and designating it for that might help a little?
Here's what works for me:
I put cookies in the oven and get as much done as possible before the timer goes off. I don't recommend this for everyone though lol
I must make a to do list for the next day every day, or else I end up scatter brained and get nothing done.
I don't have one for today...so...this will not end well.
