delayed AF after IVF?

Those of you who have gone through a failed IVF, did it take an unusually long time for AF to show up? I have had 29 day cycles like clockwork for years & after last months failed IVF, AF is taking her sweet time showing up! I am on CD32 & no signs of her anywhere! Just curious if this is normal or not?!

    hello. with my IVF #1, it took a while for AF to come after it failed. i think the same for my #2 and #3. that's why it's funny how i already had a confirmed BFN each time but was still hoping that it was a mistake only because i haven't gotten AF. well goodluck to u and hope it works the 2nd time around.

    i had the longest cycle ever after failed ivf in 2009  and now i'm on cd36 (first AF after failed FET).  UGH!

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    My nurse said it was common for it to take a couple weeks after stopping the progesterone supplements before AF shows.  For me, AF showed 6 days after stopping progesterone and then didn't want to go away.  But, if AF hadn't shown within 2 weeks, I was supposed to call them back.

    I'm so sorry AF is taking her sweet time.  The whole process sucks.  Once I got my BFN, I just wanted AF to show so it would feel like I was moving forward.  

    My cycles usually are 28 to 30 days long.  My IVF cycle was 39 days (including 2 days of spotting) followed by 11 days of bleeding!

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    Ugh, sorry that you're going through this too. After my failed IVF cycle I got AF right away, but now I'm waiting for her again and it's taking forever. My cycles are usually 26 days, but I'm currently on day 35 :( hope she shows soon!

    I'm in the same exact position-usually I'm 30-32 days-and I'm almost at 42! 

    Is anybody else having any symptoms-just no actual AF?

    I did get AF right after I found out about our failed IVF so I guess this would be the 2nd cycle.....CD 33 still waiting.

    After my failed IVF cycle, AF took 42 days to show up.  Prior to IF treatments, my cycles were always 29 days long.
