I Don't Have Running Water
Earlier today, some workmen stopped by and said they needed to do maintenance on the water line for my street and we wouldn't have water for a couple of hours. No big deal, I thought. Well, it has now been over 4 hrs and I can't cook, flush the toilet or wash my hands. AND the workmen up the street are gone! We tried calling the water dept but they are closed for the holiday. So, why were they working on a holiday? Was it really the water department that stopped by? I am so mad. You never appreciate running water until you have none!
