i need help! since i have been officially back at work i've been going home every chance i get to nurse/pump so i don't have to do it at work. what's the big deal you ask?!? well..i am in outside sales...for a medical company so if i am not calling on doctors i am in my car! it sucks because i have to dress up in suits or dresses, and i'm dreading having to pump in my car. on occasions i could use a spare room in the doctor's office or something but i don't want to have to do that all the time or use their bathrooms...anyway i will most likely pump in my car hence the need for quick and easy access. most of the nursing tops i've seen are NOT cute...i need to invest in a few items otherwise i have to strip in my car. lol
Re: where can i buy cute nursing tops/dresses?
I usually just wear a nursing tank under whatever I am normally wearing. then I can lift up the first layer and have the tank under so I'm not really dis-robing. Is that an option for you? (even some of my normal tanks camis can be pulled down enough to use like this).
I have very few nursing tops but the ones I did buy came from the gap, old navy, and motherwear.
I have pumped in my car quite often. I just keep a cover (like an A+A muslin blanket) and figure many people don't really glance over and check out what I'm doing in great detail. If they do - oh well, I'm fully covered. I have dark windows but my work car does not and I have used both.
This is what I do too...works like a charm! I do have three actual nursing tops...two from Motherhood and one from Gap, but they are all knit/tee type shirts and I wouldn't wear them to work. For work, I wear a lot of button down tops over a nursing tank or cross-over style mircoknits that provide easy access. Sadly, I have cute dresses that I haven't worn much because of the nursing/pumping issue.

the target nursing tanks aren't fitted enough for me to wear under my other pieces of clothing like the other ladies have described, probably b/c most of my clothes are rather fitted....you could maybe try the undercover mama b/c it is more fitted ...free shipping thru amazon mom and free return shipping (depending on the "reason" you select when returning it) if you don't like it
otherwise there are several cute nursing tops/dresses but they tend to be $$$. i see them pop up on zulily from time to time...also saw milkstars and lilac clothing on babysteals ....the lilac clothing is mostly maternity but some of it can be used for nursing too, like the Bella top
i am curious what company you work for b/c my best friend used to work for boston scientific and now works for medtronic you can msg me on FB if you don't want to post here....

now that i have lost weight I have that problem with a couple of my shirts, but not really enough to be a huge issue. I have good luck with tanks I already own. The scoop neck Lycra-y ones stretch really well (hanro that I got as gratis from Nordstrom when I worked there seem to work but are $$)
